Status and Future of Big Data in an Industry {Introduction}

Big data refers to the extremely massive amount of data which is usually analyzed with the use of computer to demonstrate patterns, trends, and associations between these components related to industries, individual behaviors, and interactions at work places. Big data is therefore characterized by excessive volume of data, variety, and velocity. This data is usually obtained from various sources such as sales sheets, results of experiments or real-time devices employed in the internet of things. Tools are usually used here to process these data before applying any analytics this is because the big data is of more concern due to its widespread use and impact. In these days, the world has become more interested in big data and analytics not because the data are big but also because the potential for impact is big.
